About Helen

Helen is an Australian singer, musician and worship leader, now happily settled in the Seattle area. As a child she studied piano and flute, and also at that time began to perform in church plays and choirs. Although she grew up going to church along with her family, it was only after battling depression as a teenager that her faith truly became her own. She spent several years singing and dancing on worship teams in both Australia and the USA, then eventually combined her piano training and singing ability to begin leading worship from keys.

Helen is honoured to have the privilege and responsibility of leading people into worship, and through music creating an atmosphere that welcomes and honors the presence of God. She currently works as a professional actor and musical theatre performer in the Seattle area. Mountains feel like cathedrals to her, so when she’s not in a theatre she’ll likely be out there on her snowboard, humming a song between her and the Lord.

HELEN can be very flexible depending on space and desired event. Happy to do anything from intimate “unplugged” type sets, to a set-up with lights/fog/all the accoutrements. Typically just need a keyboard and microphone.
